Local Lifestyle

The city of Trumbull is an ideal place to raise a family. There are great schools, fantastic dining opportunities, shopping options, beautiful houses, and a warm and welcoming community vibe. Residents of the city enjoy a friendly suburban community with plenty of space to grow and lots of opportunities to enjoy community events.

Tucked in a colonial village settled in 1630 and established as The Town of Trumbull in 1797, homes in Trumbull range in age from historic and antique homes originally built in the mid 1700’s to new construction homes being built today.  Though many of the homes here are in fantastic master-planned communities, there are also a number of traditional Cape Cod, Colonial, and ranch-style homes offering friendly neighborhoods and communities. All homes have access to one of Trumbull’s 5 award winning elementary schools, 2 middle schools, and the celebrated Trumbull High School where awards for academic, athletic, artistic, and musical achievements abound.  Children in Trumbull enjoy an all-inclusive, diverse community where the individual and their achievement is celebrated and accepted regardless of their race, religion, orientation, or national heritage.  Trumbull residents know no restrictions and welcome all neighbors while celebrating our differences as we embrace a community of inclusiveness.

Master-planned communities offer an array of comforts and conveniences that draw residents to these fantastic communities. Purchasing one of the older homes could be just as rewarding, however, because many of these have been updated with every modern convenience and comfort.  Additionally, residents enjoy the financial reward of investing in homes needing improvement as Trumbull’s strong real estate market rewards homeowner’s upgrades with strong increases to property values.
